This is a general packing list and is only meant for guidance.

Hand luggage / essentials

  • Passport — You will need this to fly.
  • Credit Cards & Cash — For your own expenses, lunch, dinner, souvenirs, coffee stops. EUR. Revolut type card works well.
  • Toiletries — Keep it light, you can purchase locally if needed.
  • Sun Block — It will be sunny!
  • Euro Health Card — if you have one, or travel insurance.
  • Phone — Plus charger.
  • Power Bank — Plus cables.
  • Bike Computer — Plus charger.
  • Bike Lights — Front and rear.
  • Headset — Useful for communication.
  • Helmet — If you have not hired one.
  • Pedals — If you have not hired one.
  • Underwear — Do I need to say more?!
  • Cycling Shoes.
  • Cycling Gloves.
  • Cycling Glasses.
  • 1x Bike Bag — A small bag that sits on your frame or handlebar.
  • 3x Cycling Jerseys.
  • 2x Cycling Bibs — You will need to rotate them.
  • Swimming Shorts & Goggles — Hotels will have pools.
  • Gels & Tabs — Take with you, but can be found locally.
  • 2x Water Bottles.

23kg Check-in Luggage (Bike Box)

  • Bike — If you have not hired one.
  • Bike Box / Bag — For transporting your bike.
  • Bike Tools — Allen keys, tyre levers, CO2 inflator.
  • Spare Inner Tubes.
  • Spare Clothing — Use the remaining weight allowance wisely.

Option 1: Team 313

Set off on the 313 ride. This will not be a supported ride.

If you are dropped or have a malfunction, you will need to make your own way to the Santa Ponsa Hotel or back to the base hotel.

Your overnight bag for Santa Ponsa will be delivered, so there is no need to ride with it.

The 313 ride is a tough ride with many climbs, so please be sure you can finish it.

Option 2: 156ers

Ride down to the Coves del Drach. On the way, we will go through a national park and visit the Coves del Drach caves.

Lunch in Porto Cristo before going into the caves.

A bus will take us and the bikes from the caves to the Santa Ponsa Hotel to meet up with the 313 group.

Your overnight bag for Santa Ponsa will be delivered, so there is no need to ride with it.

The 156ers ride is still a big ride, but much flatter than the full 313.

Caves: €18.50pp
Hotel: £50pp
Transportation: £15pp

Day 4Tue 14th Oct

Option 1: Team 313

Overnight stay in Santa Ponsa Hotel (breakfast included), then ride back with the full DesiRiders group.

Option 2: 156ers

Overnight stay in Santa Ponsa Hotel (breakfast included), then ride back with the full DesiRiders group.

Transport to Soller, take ferry to Sa Colabra for the climb.

🚲 DesiRiders International Ride Rules
🔥 This is a team ride, not a free-for-all. Follow the rules = epic experience.
  1. 1. Morning Briefing
    • • Attend daily briefings without fail
    • • Know the route, stops, expectations before setting off
    • • Miss it = you’re on the back foot all day
  2. 2. Stay Informed
    • • Check the website for all official info
    • • Monitor WhatsApp for live updates
    • • If it’s posted, you’re expected to know
  3. 3. Timekeeping
    • • Be ready on time, every time
    • • Delays affect everyone — don’t be that rider
    • • If you’re late, the group won’t wait
  4. 4. Minimum Riding Standard
    • • 14mph average on a flat road
    • • For at least 10 miles without stopping
    • • If you can’t do this today, you have time to get yourself to this level
  5. 5. Group Structure
    • • 4 groups of 10 riders
    • • Each group has 1 Ride Leader + 1 Support
    • • Follow your leader — no freelancing please!
  6. 6. Never Ride Alone
    • • Always ride in pairs minimum
    • • If you’re alone, fix it immediately
  7. 7. Ride Discipline
    • • Formations will be explained — listen and apply
    • • No erratic riding or ego moves
    • • Not a solo Strava session
  8. 8. Stick to the Plan
    • • Follow the pre-set route and stops
    • • Wait only at designated regroup points
    • • No random stops or detours
  9. 9. Respect the Pace
    • • Too slow = support vehicle
    • • This keeps the ride flowing — no debates
    • • Too fast? This ain’t the trip for you
  10. 10. Leadership
    • • Ride Leaders have full authority
    • • DesiRiders Exec decisions are final
  11. 11. Accommodation
    • • Rooms are randomly allocated
    • • No swapping unless approved
  12. 12. Mindset
    • • It’s the journey, not the destination
    • • Don’t rush — you’ll miss the experience
  13. 13. Charity
    • • Hit your charity target
  14. 14. Brotherhood
    • • Look out for each other
    • • Support weaker riders
    • • Enjoy the chilled brotherhood & scenery
